The Abuja Hash House Harriers, a drinking club with a running problem, is one of 40 active kennels in Nigeria. Founded on 15th November 1997 by expatriates from Lagos Hash, led by Father Abraham, its first run took off from the British Council, Wuse II. Starting on Abuja streets, AH3 evolved into the city’s first hiking kennel, running every other week for 28 years by November 2025. Known for hilly, bushy trails laid with shredded paper, hashers discover the route only at the muster point. Abuja H3 has birthed five kennels and is midwifing two more, keeping the spirit alive.

Welcome to Capital city Hash House Harriers (CCH3) - The Hash Singing Kennel. We're a drinking club with a running problem, & a proud member of the Hash House Harriers community. Every Thursday, we hit the streets and bush paths of the FCT and its environs for a fun-filled evening of exercise and camaraderie. Inaugurated on April 2nd, 2016, CCH3 has been consistently hosts epic trails,new locations, and rewards our participants with chilled bottles of beer. Our mission is to uphold the traditions of the Hash House Harriers while creating unforgettable experiences for our members.

Abuja Boys Hash House Harriers - The Brocode Kennel!

In 2019, beer-loving hashers from Abuja H3, led by Robocock’s Beerday and DGM Do It Sideways, with Bazooka Ejaculator, Brother Hot Rod, Ashawo Cuntsultant, Clitoris Whiskers, Empty Swagger, Bouncer, Sir Triangle, GMG, Pussy Smugglers, Loyal Lying Balls, and Harriet I Feel Horney, launched the first Away Run to Gboko, Benue State, July 19–21. A van ride birthed the Boys Kennel. By September 28, Kini Resort Akwanga hosted the second run, where the noble black goat met the grill—ABH³ was born. Now, monthly runs, away adventures, Easter Feaster, and All White Pool Party fuel laughter, brotherhood, and epic down-downs. On-on!

Gaduwa Hash House Harriers – The Fertility Kennel

Founded on September 1st, 2022, and proudly inaugurated on November 4th, 2023, the Gaduwa Hash House Harriers, fondly known as The Fertility Kennel, is a lively family of runners, adventurers, and fun-seekers. Rooted in the traditions of the hash, the Kennel blends fitness with hashing, setting trails that spark camaraderie, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Growing stronger with every step, the Fertility Kennel has become a welcoming home for hashers who cherish both endurance and enjoyment. Gaduwa H3 runs every 2nd Sunday of the month and joyfully celebrates her birthday runs in collaboration with Abuja H3, keeping the Gaduwa hashing flame bright and alive.

💜 Aso Girls H3 - Herstory in Motion

On the 20th of May 2025, the City of Abuja welcomed a bold new rhythm Aso Girls H3, an all-female Hash House Harriers kennel, burst onto the scene with sass, strength, and sisterhood, With Buttanical stepping in as the Stand-In Hash Mistress, and Stand In RA Manhole with a powerhouse crew of trailblazing Harriettes rallying to bring the vision to life. The inaugural run set the tone: fierce, fun, and unapologetically female, They run every other Tuesday, painting the city with laughter, trail tales, and a touch of mischief. The kennel is proudly women-led and women-run, but they open their circle to men only during special runs because sometimes, the boys need a reminder of how it's really done. Aso Girls H3 isn’t just a kennel it’s a movement. A celebration of fitness, friendship, and feminine fire.

Bwari Hash House Harriers

Nestled in the rocky beauty of Bwari, Abuja, the Bwari Hash House Harriers was founded on June 14th, 2025, joining the Abuja hashing family as its newest kennel. What began as a casual gathering among friends quickly grew into a pack of trailblazers passionate about adventure, camaraderie, and the timeless traditions of the hash. Known for exploring the rugged beauty of Bwari’s rocky landscapes, Bwari H3 is built on friendship, laughter, and plenty of cold beer. The kennel is guided by a spirited mismanagement, and is steadily carving out its place in the Abuja hashing scene. Bwari H3 runs once a month on Saturdays, starting from trailheads announced ahead of each run, with a carpool meet-up at Durban Park, Wuse 2. Each gathering promises fresh trails, good cheer, and a warm welcome to all who join.
